The Lithophane light box is a unique product that is carved from 1/4" DuPont Corian and backlit with low power LED lighting to present a "carved" photograph of grand-kids, grandparents, wedding day or a host of other memorable occasions that are deserving of being permanently and beautifully presented.  Starting from your photograph the Corian is carved with the image being permanently cut into the Corian.  The relatively ugly carving then comes alive when it is backlit.  Typical lightbox with 5x7 image sells for $110 which includes carving from your photograph, solid oak light box, LED lighting and plug in low voltage power supply.  Other sizes are available ranging from 3 x 3 "sun catcher" carvings to as large as an 11"x17" image.  Inquire for price and delivery information.
